Venerable build-it experts host important annual woodworking event

KMS Tools Victoria proudly announces Wood Show 2011 set for October 20th – 22nd, 8 am to 6 pm. With more than 40 important manufacturers represented at this important annual woodworking event.
Including several expert seminars, the show will offer something for everyone whether novice, expert, home handy-person or seasoned pro. Simply all are welcome. Admission and parking are free, while proceeds from the sale of BBQ smokies will go towards local minor hockey programs.
Not-to-be-missed seminar presenters include:
- David Carchesio – General International Woodworking Machinery on the development of CNC programming in high school wood shops to design and fabricate intricate woodworking projects with a Canadian Company.
- Colin Knetch – Freud Cutting Tools on specialty blades and router bits for home custom cabinets and flooring.
- Mike Brown, Chainsaw Carvings presents the dynamic art of creating lifelike traditional BC carvings with a chainsaw.
- Byron Blow – Minimax Edge Bander, offers creative solutions for small cabinetry shops and manufacturing efficiencies.
- Gordon Gallagher – Pen Turning, creating popular Christmas gifts for everyone: pens.
- As women are increasingly entering the trades, the Camosun College “Women in Trades” program will be well-represented with a dedicated booth to engage event visitors.
