What better way to show your appreciation for Dad than spending a day with him at the car show? With likely over 200 pre-1972 vehicles, it’s a favourite show for many car buffs. Show cars are traveling from all around to participate in this year’s event- maybe just to enjoy the show, or maybe it’s because of the thousands of dollars in prizes to be won by both car exhibitors and spectators!

Well the 21st Annual KMS Tools Coquitlam Show & Shine has come and gone. It was a wet one, but the rain couldn’t stop you from eating delicious FREE smokies, winning thousands of dollars in PRIZES, and showing off your beautiful classic and custom cars! 109 cars came to shine in the rain, and a good time was had by car buffs and average Joes alike. 1960-66 Chevy and GMC pickups are prone to rust along the rocker panels, lower doors, cab supports and floor pan. If you have an unrestored pickup of this vintage, take a peek underneath. You’re likely to find some unsightly rust.
