KMS TOOLS COQUITLAM CHARITY SHOW & SHINE
What better way to show your appreciation for Dad than spending a day with him at the car show? With likely over 200 pre-1972 vehicles, it’s a favourite show for many car buffs. Show cars are traveling from all around to participate in this year’s event- maybe just to enjoy the show, or maybe it’s because of the thousands of dollars in prizes to be won by both car exhibitors and spectators!

Though the media has moved on from the Fort Mac fire, the residents are just beginning to think about rebuilding. Many lost not only their homes, but also their tools- their livelihoods. With the help of Compassionate Resource Warehouse, and Overland West/Comox Pacific Shipping, Tools for the World was able to send 5 pallets of your used tools to Fort McMurray, where they were distributed by the local Salvation Army.

Well the 21st Annual KMS Tools Coquitlam Show & Shine has come and gone. It was a wet one, but the rain couldn’t stop you from eating delicious FREE smokies, winning thousands of dollars in PRIZES, and showing off your beautiful classic and custom cars! 109 cars came to shine in the rain, and a good time was had by car buffs and average Joes alike. Look for your favourite cars on our 2017 Car Calendars!
Our thoughts and prayers are with the people of Fort McMurray who have been affected by the fire. Tools for the World is an ongoing program that helps get tools into the hands of people who need them most around the world. When disaster strikes, there is a huge need for tools. Right now that’s in Fort McMurray. We are taking donations of tools and equipment specially designated for Fort McMurray. This is a special appeal to anyone who has old tools that are just too good to throw out. Clean out your garage, shed, workshop or closet, if it is a good old tool, we’ll take it! Hand tools or power tools, tools for plumbing, electrical, automotive, construction, welding, metal working, carpentry, restoration, etc.! Most tools can be used in some way. All nine locations of KMS Tools are accepting donations for Fort McMurray and any surplus tools will be distributed as needed around the world. When the time comes to assist the people of Fort McMurray with rebuilding their community, KMS will get your donated tools into the hands of the people who need them, for free.
