DeWalt has announced its newest cordless technology, FLEXVOLT, which brings corded power to a cordless system.

The FLEXVOLT battery switches voltage to match the tool, so it’s compatible with DeWalt’s existing 20V MAX platform as well as the new 60V MAX and 120V MAX cordless lineup that includes a cordless table saw and cordless 12″ sliding mitre saw. The new mitre saw uses two FLEXVOLT 60V MAX batteries to deliver 120 Volts and the cutting performance of a corded saw.

  • Carbon dioxide (CO₂) and nitrogen (N₂) are available at Coquitlam

Renting or leasing a cylinder can be expense. So stop by your nearest KMS Tools location, bring your own cylinder or buy a new one, and we will fill it for you while you wait or shop.

Fort McMurray Special Appeal – Tools for the World

Our thoughts and prayers are with the people of Fort McMurray who have been affected by the fire. Tools for the World is an ongoing program that helps get tools into the hands of people who need them most around the world. When disaster strikes, there is a huge need for tools. Right now that’s in Fort McMurray. We are taking donations of tools and equipment specially designated for Fort McMurray. This is a special appeal to anyone who has old tools that are just too good to throw out. Clean out your garage, shed, workshop or closet, if it is a good old tool, we’ll take it! Hand tools or power tools, tools for plumbing, electrical, automotive, construction, welding, metal working, carpentry, restoration, etc.! Most tools can be used in some way. All nine locations of KMS Tools are accepting donations for Fort McMurray and any surplus tools will be distributed as needed around the world. When the time comes to assist the people of Fort McMurray with rebuilding their community, KMS will get your donated tools into the hands of the people who need them, for free.

KMS has inventory on 18 gauge brad nailers and 15 gauge angled finish nailers, available in kits or individually. These tools feature the same cordless technology found in Milwaukee’s M18 FUEL cordless series—including compact brushless motors and the brand’s proprietary electronics system and battery packs. According to Milwaukee’s press release, Milwaukee cordless finish nailers have enough power to seat nails sub-flush into hardwood without ramp-up time or gas cartridges.
