Ever since the advent of the job site, there have been trades-people trying to put a jobsite radio on them. With the way technologies rapid changes and grows, the way most people listen to music changes every couple of years. CD’s, cassette tapes and even in many ways the radio are no longer. The main way the modern trades-person listens to music is with an mp3 player. The innovators at our favorite power tool companies have done a great job to keep up with technology trends.
The AFS Flexible Sanding Block is an awesome new product to hit the auto body industry. At first glance these auto body blocks look at little different than most automotive sanding blocks. Each “block” contains three ridged rods that slide in and out of the the foam handle, with a metal underbelly PSA sanding paper. By adding or removing the flex rods in different configurations the user can change the “pressure to flex-ratio” to fit most curvatures; giving the auto body professional a variety of rigidities in only a single block! This design provides “even-contact” for sanding high-crowned fenders and body work, preventing flat spots.

Dry-walling can be pretty straightforward; most of the trouble lies in cutting holes for outlets and more. Sure, outlets might be second nature to some professionals but what happens when you have four outlets on a single sheet of drywall? The V-belt has been around for a long time. It has served its purpose and gave the industry a revolution in motor technology; however thankfully, nothing is permanent. The next innovation is the Fenner Drives V-Belt. The Fenner Drives system has a product range of three similar but unique products: The NuTLink V-Belts for classical section drives, the Super TLink V-Belts for applications using metric wedge SP rated belts, and the Power Twist Plus for most belt drive motors. Anyone who has done any tiling understands that the saw is just one piece of the puzzle.
